Worship & Music

Weekly Worship

Our service is on Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. in our Sanctuary. Traditional in style, it includes singing from hymnals, congregational participation in prayers and litanies, music support by organ, piano, vocal choir, bell choir and lay reading of scripture.

Sanctuary Choir

Meets Wednesday evenings for rehearsal and performs in the Traditional service (10:30 a.m. Sundays) September through May. They also perform for several special services during the year.

Joyful Noise Bell Choir

We have five octaves of handbells generously purchased by congregational donation. The choir performs once each month in the Traditional service and rehearses each Wednesday evening September through May. They also attend a conference once a year and perform at special services during the year.

Stephen Ministry

Offers a proven and effective way to train, organize, equip and supervise a team of congregational volunteers – called Stephen Ministers – to provide high-quality, one-on-one, Christ-centered care to people in the congregation and surrounding community who are experiencing life difficulties.

Veteran’s Recognition Service

A yearly worship service celebrated on the Sunday closest to Veteran’s Day at the 10:30 a.m. worship. Time is taken to recognize those veterans present in the service, thank them for their sacrifice, remember those who are no longer with us and invite them to celebrate Holy Communion presided over by a military chaplain.

Blue Christmas Service

Celebrated on the Saturday evening closest to the winter solstice (the longest night of the year). This Service recognizes that the holidays are not joyful for everyone. Participants are invited to accept their somber feelings as normal, to light candles to represent the presence of the Holy Spirit in their dark times and to join in prayer with the Pastor for God’s strength in their difficult times.
